This next one is my new favorite. Tree Heart + Iron Heart = [emoji172][emoji172] [emoji16]

25 Hikes in. 1/4 of the way. Feels good. The slubby denim are great companions.  For the next 25 hikes. I want to try to incorporate some speed runs. A little goal I have is to go 3 miles per hour. But a 6 mile hike in 2 hours. Sometimes when I’m taking photos it’s 25 to 30 minutes. And that’s fine. I’m having fun. I also want to hit a bit more cardio in. So I think I’ll try to do a more pure workout 2/3 times a week and see how that goes. I’m already icing my feet and taking Epsom salt baths. I might as well push it into full gear. I still have the entire north side of Yellow Creek Lake to explore. I’m excited to show you more of what Western PA has to offer. Thanks to everyone who keeps ups and contributes! I appreciate you!

Father’s Day speed run was a success. It was different passing up some cool photo opportunities for pace this time. I’m happy with the results and it will definitely fade the denim a little more as I sweat and traveled more in them. Here is also my two boys Damian Kofi and Ethan Kojo. Pretty much the cutest thing ever of Kofi brushing Kojo’s hair. They make me a proud dad. They’re lovely children.

This hike was cool because one of the employees was outside and I asked him the best way to get to the dam. He busted out his utility cart and gave me ride a little ways there. Had a nice chat. I’m looking to shoot the dam a bit more to work on some long exposure shots.

While not an official Hike in Denim, I did take a walk around Frick Park after meeting up with Mike and Seth. There was some pretty cool improvements along with some crazy weather destruction since I’ve been there last. They added a bunch of new trail markers and headers. Updated some benches that needed repair and it looks like a lot of young kids got into mountain biking. A nostalgic and happy hike in Frick Park

Been enjoying the pics of your hikes Adam @Fadez  . Maybe have missed it, but what’s typical the weather/temp when you’re out hiking this time of the year?

Thanks [mention]RoxRocks86 [/mention] ! The weather has definitely varied. I try to go in the morning when it’s a bit cooler, lately that’s been 60-70F. But I’ve done a few afternoon hikes in 80-85F. Really hot for me. After my afternoon Frick Park hike last Friday I had to shave my beard and head again. That kind of heat tipped the scales for me. The slubs do their fair share of breathing, not quite like 21 oz, but since they’re much lighter it works.  If you’re able to wear the tight weave of the 14oz comfortably in HI, then I think the slubs would be welcome on the island as well
