The MBMF’s have touched down! & these are some seriously badass mf’ers to say the least. They practically look like a pair of black denim with a very dark indigo tinge. The previous pics posted really depict how they are in real life - very VERY dark compared to the standard OD that we know and love. They have the same OD smoothness and that same great richness in color, albeit something completely different but with a sense of familiarity.
Some quick fit pics with the shadows brought up a tad to show some detail.
Will be sending these to Indigo Proof for waist alterations as they easily slip off fully buttoned, hemming, aaand debating on full leg tapering or just leaving it as it. Gonna start 2021 with these MBMF

Being curious to how this denim would look with a little fading going on, chopped them to hem length & gave the cut-offs some concrete love then threw it in the washer and dryer.

The denim is still very dark and more black in real life than the photo’s suggest, but the roping and areas with fades do have that nice pop of blue to them. This denim is gonna fade beautifully! Can’t wait to see someone do them justice. I’m holding off on my pair for a few months giving & XHS some love atm

Yep if you’re familiar with 21oz. OD’s they have that same soft smooth feeling.
Hoping the 888XHSMBs do well so other cuts can get the same treatment

The return of the MBMF’s!
Just got these back from Indigo Proof earlier this week where they’ve been shrunk to perfection.
I was so excited to wear them when they arrived that I threw them on before heading to work. Figured nothing would happen as it was a cruise day just drilling and installing cabinet pulls and aligning doors for kitchen cabs and bathroom vanities. Well, the cabinets were white. These are some inky mf’s!

@hoppy_IPA appreciate the feedback on the layout. For someone that’s lazy, scrolling thru large photos or going back pages to see a comparison is too much work

& the inner leg is where they do the tapering work so the selvedge side is safe from any slicing and dicing.Kinda hard to see the selvedge due to the black magic dying process but it’s there lurking in the dark.

From a wearers standpoint the mad black appears as a regular pair of black denim, but these pics tell a different story. Electric blues on the first signs of knee fades coming in and in the sun at different angles the various hues shine thru.

It‘s almost like they are overdyed Indigo/Blacks … interesting. The fades are awesome coming in like that though.
