Great answer @neph93 . I was just bout to pull the trigger on a size 31 from the ironheart uk site but sadly received a message from Adam C that they have to temporarily suspend shipments to European Union (EU) countries 

Seems no other european online retailer have this model in stock so I just have to wait a while longer. But big thanks anyways for great support!

I also copped a pair of these today. I figured after pestering Alex and Giles for over a year about making the 888 in plain XHS is was the right thing to do. The thing is when they came out I was on the verge of skid row. I can't wait to see my double chainstitch job. @spitfiredealer I finally got a pair hemmed to 33" so I can either go for stacks or maybe like a 1" cuff and a stack.

I'm no expert fader by any means, but these have been the slowest to fade in my experience. I probably have about 90+ wears on mine, took then hiking a few times, just dorking around the house, and I'm finally getting a little light blue popping behind the knees.

It's been a long time coming then! Congrats on finally getting yourself a pair @Filthy. Kinda thought you'd pull the trigger on another pair of XHSib's before any other denim

Thank you very much! I have a pair of 888xhsib in a size larger. The new ones are gonna be somewhat of an experimental pair. I plan on removing the patch and hot soaking them and a hot wash right out the gate. I was thinking about maybe trying to  use a cement mixer with some boiling  water to gently agitate the jeans for a few hours

You bet. It would be cool to have a cheap cement mixer for washing jeans in. I am actually worried I am gonna break the washer when I wash my jeans in it. It sounds like a helicopter.
