            Are they going to do a left hand twill in the 555 or 777?

                        I wrote this back in 2018 and I feel like maybe it is either a coincidence, or someone took what I had to say to heart. But this denim is pretty much everything I had hoped for. Super soft, not stubborn as regular 21 oz denim… easy to fade and the same comfy weight as regular 21 oz denim.

                        I am just on the cusp of any real fades. But I feel like these are going to be something really special. I've only had double knee engineers and the ih-805 overalls in 21 oz denim. But I feel inclined to say that these feel the same on the inside but somehow even softer on the face.

                        @Filthy:

                        I always imagine being rich and getting my own roll of denim made so I could get stuff made and give it to the forum members. It doesn't seem like I am ever gonna be rich.

                        So, some 21oz EASY TO FADE denim would be great. Like sanforized, processed, what you do to 21oz denim, you name it. Just make it soft, shiny, and smooth. But easy to fade.

                        Truth be told, I got this pair of 25oz Samurai jeans because I knew they'd be fast faders. I don't like how the denim feels compared to 25 XHS or 21oz Iron Heart denim. But the way I am, I can't stick to one pair for long. So something that was Iron Heart soft and heavy, but fades fast would be perfect.

                        Then make 888 jeans out of it with a zipper fly and oversized  (overalls sized) back pockets.

                            I was walking home in these and it had gotten cold and extremely windy since I had left my house… and I noticed that these are very windproof (for those who ride motorcycles). The rest of me was freezing but my legs were warm. I was actually impressed enough to reflect and write this post.

                              NGL i am completely loaded rn. Like 6 sheets to the wind… and I have a new pair of XHS due to arrive tomorrow. I actually bargained with my boss to send me on a local job so I could be home to get my new jawns... (well them, a new shirt, @atm23 's UHF and a new phone).

                              I am excited. But now that I am inebriated and wearing these jeans (from the op) I feel conflicted about transitioning my total dedication to a different pair. They are so crazy soft. No such thing as a "rotation" for me. It's like serial monogamy. I wouldn't ever cheat on my girlfriend or my favorite jeans. But I am hoping the 888 XHS had the fit I am craving. But these are so crazy comfy and soft. I suppose I could keep wearing them as pajamas? 😆 or taking @yannis ' suggestion and getting these hemmed to wear as dress/ date jawns?

                                Get them hemmed! That’s good reasoning and an acceptable solution to the two pair dilemma

                                    Go for it buddy. Its such a versatile pair. They drape beautifully because of their buttery like softness.

                                      The only fundamental flaw i see with this plan is that if I wanted to get them hemmed I would need to wash them. And they are not ready to be washed yet. Unless I could bribe the person who's doing the hemming to accept them unwashed?  🤔

                                        Respectfully, as a community, we need to get over this no-wash hysteria. Wash you jeans and hem them and then get on with life. No seamstress should ever be asked to handle the horrors of unwashed raw denim.

                                          If you are concerned about shrinkage i can tell you that is negligible, at list in my case. And if you go cold water and hung dry you will get none. Now if you really wanna be safe, hem 0.5 inch to an inch lower than usual and you are straight. They look good with a small stuck cause they drape so nice and you can still rock a small cuff if you feel like it.
