Thanks team! I’m not worried - I have a feeling the lighter color will get washed & dried frequently - so a bit larger than my UHFs so I can wear it as a true over shirt/jacket was probably the right choice

Since I got two sizes, I thought I would do a comparison side by side..
Black is XXL | Turq is XXXL

The XXXL is definitely large, but should be good over a full weight shirt after a wash and dry. Black fits loosely, but comfy. I didn’t want any pull on the placket with this material, so while a XL would have been a very nice trim cut, I don’t think it would have really fit me..

(Obviously this outfit doesn’t work at all color wise.. quickly changed out of loafers and dress shirt for try on)

Black looks superb, but the Turquoise works well too for a relaxed fit. The only place it looks noticeably big is in the arm length and that will be fixed by wearing something more under it or cutting. I notice the TUR looks more muted in the wild, too. Great scores @Appfaff

IMHO, I think sizing on the black is better.  Not sure about the material and whether the shape will hold up over time.  The sleeves on the Turq are too long.

Any idea on if these will shrink after a wash? The description did not say they were one-washed so I just wanted to double check. Thanks!

I don't think polyester would shrink at all. Unless you re-melt it.

@Appfaff you're making me very excited about the purchase I made; however, I have to agree there's a lot of sleeve in the turquoise. I don't think it looks bad per se, though.

Yeah, the sleeves are long - I knew I was ordering one a true size too big, so went into the Turq intending it to be a jacket, as opposed to the black being a shirt.

I appreciate all the feedback - my point was to show, sizing down would be easier than sizing up

I’ve never returned anything to IHUK, and won’t start today lol

I’ll take a post layered over a chambray and see what y’all think !

I think the turquoise still works just fine, though even a single cuff would make a big difference.  They both look good.
