That said it takes layers nicely.Good point.. but you may be surprised by how warm it is with a UHF, puffy, or hoody under it..

Yep. Wore it sitting around the house last night and was all “there’s no way I’m not wearing this to work tomorrow.” Light weight puffer underneath (wearing it in the photo) and away I went. 29f and dark. No prob. Expected the wax to stiffen up a bit but it really didn’t. That said it was only a 20 minute drive.

John process...I bought all the guys in our family a set of Waxed Canvas catchall bags and a pack of leather coasters from SJ for the holidays. Easy to buy through the site, and shipping notification first business day.
All seems great... except it’s 4 days later and USPS still says package is ready pick up.. meaning it hasn’t even hit post.
Does he do like 1 drop off a week or what?
Worried my stuff won’t even get here in time..

For in-stock stuff, they usually ship pretty promptly.
I would definitely recommend you send them an email. They've always been responsive with me.
I did see this on the top of their site, not sure if it applies to you:
"HOLIDAY DEADLINES: 12/7 last day for made to order items & 12/14 last day for in stock items to guarantee by the 24th. 12/23 last day for curbside pick up!"

Sometimes it takes a couple days to ship but that seems a bit longer than usual. Their website has a phone number posted. If I were you I would give them a call tomorrow and figure out what's going on.

Friday right on the dot, the package was dropped off at ups and everything arrived yesterday, so no need to even bother them during the busy season!

I'm in the Uk and I've had a few dealings with SJ this year, wills jacket, special order Wescos amongst other purchases, they always get back to you promptly and I can say their customer service is top notch!

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong. I've had to write SJ a few times and they usually get back to me pretty quickly and in a friendly manner. Every dealing I've had with them has been fantastic and I recommend them to everyone who will listen.
However, I've never found another staff that would provide such exact measurements, or let you dress their employees, or host their own forums like IHUK. I'm not sure that I ever will.

@Paul9221 Did you catch the IG livestream where Mike showed the prototype for a new blanket lined jacket. Thought about you as I was watching. Really cool jacket.
I literally just saw that on IG! I didn't catch the live vid but they have it on their IG story now. I'm afraid of how much space I'm going to have to make in my closet to accommodate 2021 drops from IH and SJ
