why is it when i'm trying to do the right thing for lent & all that temptation seems to be increased by a zillion.

GODDAMMIT, weather forecast for next 5 days… -1°C - +2°C and even lower temps at night. Snowing also.

Tell me about it man! I got a new bike (bicycle) in the beginning of december and I haven't even gotten the chance to try it yet. FxxK.

Took my Mini Cooper into the shop today for an oil change, window shield replacement, and wheel balance. When the technician looked under the hood to check the engine with me, he showed me that there loads of acorns around the engine framing and my spark plug coverings where all chewed up.
He said that I could get rid of squirrels or yard rats by sicking fabric dryer sheets inside of the engine (not near the areas that get direct heat) around the internal head light housing or next to electrical wells, or stapling them on the wires.
He said the stronger smelling the better….they just hate the smell.

A long time ago, when the troubles were in full swing in Northern Ireland, I was a delivery driver for a book store in England. One of my regular trips ws to libraries in Northern Ireland. The ferry over to Belfast left from Liverpool, I lived 100 or so miles away in Birmingham. Late one winter night after thashing up the motorway, I was having the full white van super security search by the army guys when they asked me to step out of the van. Pointing under the bonnet (hood) one of them said "know anything about this sir?", I looked into the eyes of one very confused (but warm) cat…...........
