I will say the top block tapers heavily from the hips to the waist, so yeah, they are on the snug side of sizing per tagged size..

They have relaxed a little (or I was had some water retention last time). Too small they are not, but nor will they be comfy weekend pants, I’d have needed to go up a size for that.
