Matt's New Mexico (Formerly Airstream) Adventure

And the Burger Bar. Serving heart attacks out of this tool shed since 1949…
Holy shit. Crazy. This is where I grew up. Small world. I haven’t seen this in quite a while.

@Aetas I did not but if I had a place to put them I’d have considered it. As it stands I brought way more IH shirts and jackets than my wife would have allowed had I not hidden them from her.
Whenever my wife and I see one of those tiny home shows or talk about van-living, she quickly shoots it down with "You wouldn't be able to fit all of your of clothes in there."
Did you sell any IH stuff off before moving into the Airstream? If so, I'd love to know what you decided to keep! I sometimes look at my closet filled with something like 7 years of IH garb purchases and am not really sure what I would keep if I could only keep 10 items, for example. What were those top X items that you decided to keep. Is there anything you got rid of or never picked up that you would end up putting to good use on the road?
Sorry if this has already been brought up in the thread, I haven't read it all.

Damn, I haven't been to Cleburne in years; since I was working in oil & gas and the Barnett Shale was going crazy. I'm looking forward the next few stops.

@FairlyVague thats awesome! The world couldn’t get much smaller. We’re heading back today so let me know if there’s something you want a shot of.
@Paul9221 i did in fact have a pretty epic sale in the months leading up to out trip. I sold an IHSH-87, a pair of IH-666LBs that I regret, and a bunch of other hot items. I kept my 666XHS, 777V&S, 777D, 634SR, TW666N, Beatle Busters and 666ii. My nylon jacket and my denim zip up. About 10 or 11 IH and TW shirts including my 33, 64, some UHFs and 178, 4 belts, about 16 pairs of shoes/boots about 50 or 60 tees, not IH and various assorted socks( underwear, sweatshirts etc. not bad for such a small space. I’ll try to take some pics for you later.
@Chris I’m really surprised to hear so many of you know of this place. It seems so out of the way on such a vast place.

It actually isn't that out of the way. The DFW metro area has expanded a lot in the last 15 years or so, and Cleburne has become something of a suburb. Burleson is nearby, and it's moderately sized and fast growing.
I've run a lot of obstacle course races in Grandview and Glen Rose, which are nearby, too. Actually, that reminds me- if you have time, you may want to check out Dinosaur World in Glen Rose. I've never been, but it's supposed to be kinda fun.

Man, you kept way more than I had imagined! I mean, I could maybe imagine a way if it was just you in there, but with a wife and two kids? I gotta see your storage setup!

When people walk by and see the MD license plate you’d think it said Mars instead. We are a curiosity to the locals with our slick duded up city ways. If we can make it through Election Day without an uprising or secession I’ll be content. Of course depending how it goes, I could be the one wrecking shit up in here. I can show them how we do civil unrest in Baltimore.
