@Jett129 unsure, but I don't want too much shrinkage since I ordered a tag 38 and my 555-01od are right at 38.
If you’re ever going to wash them, you might as well get the shrinkage out now. Better to find they don’t fit straight away than have them be too small in three months time.
You can use a bucket, but why would you if you have a tub. The bucket necessitates folding which increases the risk of marbling and abrasion lines. Better to have them stretched out.

Spoke too soon about joining the 25oz club, but it might've worked out for the better because I'm now interested the upcoming double black 25oz of this fit.

2 weeks in, 1 soak after 1 week. Tag 32.
Struggled with the buttons for a couple of days, now all good.Don’t mind to shrink for half an inch every where, but happy to keep it as it is for another 6 months before going in the washing machine.
I have read through this 70 pages of info twice before I jumped in. (Special thanks to Graham for helping in sizing)

Very nice fit. Depending in the length and warmth of your soak, there may not be any shrink left, but they look great as they are imho.
Probably from this angle you may some room in the top block to spare.
Not complaining, makes the wearing more pleasant. I do love the colour.
I did with room temp water for an hour just to soften a bit.

The 555 top block is roomy compared to the 777 so that looks about right. It is a relaxed, (but still sharp), slim tapered fit. Nice to know these threads still work as useful resources.

Thanks @Smiladon! The jacket is the now sadly extinct ih-101j, which is the IH interpretation of the Lee Rider Jacket. I wear it a lot, both inside and outside the house. It's probably my most loved IH piece!

We are rerunning this jacket in the 18oz vintage selvedge indigo denim. We should have the first sample here this week….
