The fabric, from last year, is very stiff at first but then becomes much softer with wear and a wash or two. The color is very lovely. Wish it was 94 in Los Angeles.

I’m sure you all want to see a sweaty picture of me in my garage trying the shirt on while my kids are screaming inside the house? I’m sure someone out there requested that.

I’m normally between an XL and XXL, and I opted for the XL since it was a little on the larger side for the measurements. Did I make the wrong choice?
Nope. you did not. Looks trim and fitted. Very good imho.
Also this news makes me ecstatic as I am a small XL. L measurements have always tempted me and when these came up slightly bigger I took the risk.

The fabric is very stiff, but my tan one from last year is very soft now. It just takes a bit. The color on this one is amazing. Looks even better in the light.

Oh my it's exceptional, certainly a killer piece of shirting. It's dimensionally, excluding length, identical to my 'M' IHSH-246-NIN (my only other IH shirt in M) but its snug due to the difference in fabric weight /stiffness. I am left questioning if a Large would have been better. (Not that I had a choice in what turned out to be a race to the check out).
Is this military serge fabric known to soften and give a little, if so, I might be persuaded to persevere?

It won’t have the stretch like denim but it will become softer overtime. I would say it behaves similarly to the duck fabric. I think that would be a good comparison.

@Giles seems like a good idea. The fabric is lovely and the color of the green and last year's mocha are out of this world. Would love to see it in other earthtones colors.

GC tipped me off about 'Iron Heart Germany' on a different post, several questions, they have this shirt right now in my size, can they take an order from USA (they must right?), can they do a 'snap upgrade'?, and, are they marked up on price from the UK store?
Didn't check exchange rates.

@vaquero357 price will be in Euros but is not marked up from IHUK prices. I’m pretty sure they will ship where you are, but it may cost you. I do not believe they have snap upgrade capbilities yet.
