I think I wear them raw for the first couple weeks. Just to see what will happen

@alexswords all i know from my one time trying these on is that I took your advice and went down a size, lucky for me they offered a 35 in these, and I can get them on, but they fit like a tight glove. In a good way
From the initial try on, they are as close to my dream fit as it comes. I've come to love the RGT SK fit and these are pretty close…
I'm still curious what the 19oz 777sib are going to look like measurement wise. And if they come out before October 10th, I might have to check them out too. SO many jeans to choose from!

In other words, I'm super excited to beat the crap out of these, come October!

Finally got these back from Indigo Proof!

Measurements in sanforized unwashed state

Quick pics before hot wash

Seems Rain is not only a denim wizard but time traveler as well & did alterations on these before IH sent them to me 

Machine washing them right now on hot w/spin & will dry them in the dryer on high heat for 30 min. If they’re still damp will just let them sun bathe till completely dry.

Hot wash + dryer measurements to come.

Will probably do a 2nd wash + dry when I have time to get all shrinkage out. Hoping these shrink as much or as close to regular XHS.

Is the one inch shrinkage pretty consistent? If so, the tag 38 in this pair looks ideal. My 555OD is 19in.

Idk if it’s the soft, smooth hand of the ib’s but these sure feel less intimidating to break in compared to regular XHS. Love that they’re so different.

As far as fabric feeling goes , did you mean post wash smooth or pre -wash?

I owned both, as far as rugged thing goes , I don’t see big different pre washed in both fabric . Both hard as nail but I see where you coming from , the black weave made it a tiny smoother. Mine still unwashed and after many months of use , still very very crunchy !!

Maybe it's like the 21oz, where that super duper double-thick weft makes all the difference.

Finally get to start wearing these. The knees and thighs are pretty tight, but I know they’ll loosen up. Let the good times roll!
