Miserable weather today.. but who cares when the bite is on? Countless fish today, and this nice one of 3+ lbs (1390g)!

Father & son on the fly. Root river mn. 17 total brown trout on the day. Landed with nymphs, dry flys, and soft hackle.

Been reading about the fishing tournament where the one team were caught cheating by putting lead weights in their catches bellies.
That's some shady stuff –-- hope they get more than a slap on the hands.

Snook are fun to catch. They spook easy and fight hard. They are out of season unfortunately, so can’t keep any.
Really good eating when you can.
