Thank you Sabergirl and Popvulture. My preference is to wear a Size 36, if possible. I think I just need a little bit more room in the top half. Sounds like 555 or 634 might be a better fit in Size 36 for me. I will check them out.

How much shrinkage in the thigh have you guys got on these? Trying to decide if I can make 666 work for me. The thigh measurement on size chart is perfect but wouldn’t want to lose much or I’m afraid they’d be to tight.

About four months in of daily wear. The North East summer is making 25oz a challenge but these are evolving nicely

Can these loose stitches on the crotch seam be repaired if they were to come apart?

That normal nothing to worry about yet..

When the time comes they can be repair.

Just wear them and enjoy them.

@Kasi yup very early only got one wear on them so far haha. Thank you for the response though! The stitching seems to be pretty tight in that area on my other pair of XHSib that’s the only reason I ask. As long as they’re able to fix that area if it were to come apart then I’m not to worried about it.

Hi all !  I'm new to the forum, my name is Martin, 42 years old, I'm a baker in France. 
Yesterday I received my first IH jeans, an 888 25oz, what a monster! 
I am 1.73m (5'8) tall and I weigh 72kg (159lbs), after a long hesitation I chose a size 31. I manage to close the button quite easily but I find the waist tight.  On the other hand, I am comfortable in the butt and thighs. 
What do you think, should I change it to a size 32?

My opinion is no.  They will stretch in the waist.  Give them a few days…...

@tinmar I'm in agreement with the two above opinions. If you've managed to get into them and tackled the buttons and they are tight in the waist then you've made it as the denim will relax a bit over time. Enjoy and welcome to the forum
