          ha @Dmart we had the same layered meat from a dutch oven yesterday at the easter fire  😃

              After massively overachieving last year, I think our plum tree has decided to take a gap year…..Hardly any fruit on it 🙂

                No pics, but had a very good meal at Fulgrances in Paris tonight. A restaurant where different chefs have multiple month residencies. Tonight it was Alice Arnoux who does contemporary French food after working at Noma in Copenhagen. Lots of vegetables, very springy, but also creamy and smoky. My favourite dish was a wasabi flamed mackerel with grapefruit and pickles, but the artichoke with trout eggs and white butter was also very good, as was the scallop tartar with cress sorbet. And the wild asparagus with lard and peanuts. Pretty original stuff. Fun to multi-course every once in a while. Extra fun if the chef is playful and original.

                              So after a trip a nearby lake yesterday for a swim we did it


                              Cordon Bleu, Merguez sausage, cheese sauce, Algerian sauce, burger sauce, bacon, fries, jalapeño cheese nuggets, all in a wrap and grilled.

                                    It's a strange example of globalisation. Notice that the signage is in English, for a French fast food chain popularising a Lyon-based remix of a Mexican food.

                                            I like all kinds of food and I really did enjoy O Tacos. Would eat again. Pretty amazing how much choice you have of what to put in the thing, almost overwhelming. It’s basically a burger and sides in a wrap. I can understand that such a thing might not sound appetising to everyone, but I think it’s fun. I guess it’s like a Cornish pasty. One big heavy satisfying brick of carbs with a meaty and cheesy filling. Bon appetit
