Compared to those G-Shocks, the Aqua Terra is indeed "Less Intimidating"!

Yes!! I had this one made for me as I wanted dark green stitching. Nearly cost as much as the watch though! But it totally transformed it

Did a similar thing on my Seiko 5 with a Pinion Cordovan strap. Also cost as much as the watch [emoji38]

GST-B500.  I got it on eBay.  It appears to be legit though I’ve never handled a G-Steel so I have no frame of reference.  It’s solar and BT enabled though it’s not an option on the app yet because it’s not out in the states.  The manual is also exclusively in Japanese so I’m winging it with some features for now.

I also got a watch case to better hide my new collection from my wife. I made sure there was room for the other one I got in eBay that’s in its way as well as the one I’m currently bidding on.

Question: How does collecting your watches in one place mitigate wife-ageddon? Makes them harder to find, put when they are found you’re pinned like frog on the dissection table.

Seiko have just launched their King Seiko model (which I think sits somewhere between the regular and Grand Seiko ranges) with a funky purple dial. Note too the lack of a date window.

It'll retail for €1850 (so probably a similar dollar amount), and be available from their boutiques in July. More details at Monochrome.
