I had a Combat Trodoon but I had trouble firing the blade reliably. It requires quite a bit of strength actually! I ended up selling it. Superb quality.

Yeah, I agree that it's both tough to fire (like whoa) and of a rather high quality for a standard production knife.

I really like them, but since I found out it is now illegal to carry one hand folders here in Germany they became way less attractive.

Same in the uk, but if you have it for a genuine reason it’s ok, and fishing counts as a good reason

Picked up a new gentlemen’s folder on sale. The plates are made from copper giving it a very pleasant heft and balance. It should also develop a great patina and is already showing pitting. The flipper is also slick af.
