@popvulture i picked them up from statement, munich. They hace a great texture and a great fit but somehow i just don‘t wear them very often. The red tab was cut off sadly - i tried to sew it back in by hand. Works for me but i think soneday it will fray away…  levi‘s law is a bummer.

Found an old pair of 5105 (horizontal weft super slubby short staple cotton) that I retired after a crotch blowout. The denim was almost stretchy and crocheted blanket-like from the jump, which made them very comfortable right away. The nature of the fabric makes the fades kind of fuzzy. Great vertical falling.

I can’t wait to see Haraki’s slub challenge the Onis of the world and do so with IH robustness.

Going to get them fixed up and back in rotation.

The 5105’s are currently the only non-IH denim in my rotation. Great warm-weather denim due to the loose weave.

no it is the model sg 1209 for sale on yahoo auction.  the seller has several strike gold 1209 jeans on sale.
as I shop on yahoo auction with buyee, I cannot contact the seller for more information.

@swiss-jeansfreak and I started getting very excited about the raw 24.8 ounce Extra Hard SG9903s! I could see where you could get 2 pairs raw in different sizes. He sussed it out and when I went to look again next morning one of the two pairs had gone! He admitted he was the guilty party. I quickly snaffled the last pair, a size 32 hoping they would fit. Well they do and were so much easier to do up and less course than my 2016 size 32 UHR634s.

@Jeansman Amazing, I always wanted to feel these in person! Surprised to hear they are more malleable the the UHR, although I never felt the original version of that denim..

(I have a pair of these in the tapered, one washed version, SG9904, tucked away, waiting for the right occasion. Might be a little while, too many great IH jeans to get through )

Thanks @T4920 . I also have a few pairs of unworn earlier edition UHRs you could feel and some barely worn earlier edition XHSs as well as some unworn Full Counts with arcs and red tabs and loads of unworn LVC.

@JunkPants I wore them this afternoon but generally will wear them in gradually alongside my UHRs as I am having so much fun with my UHRs. The SG9903s are not good for soft furnishings as they shed indigo (at least on my hands) like crazy.
