Great, thanks guys! Ill be dropping by both stores  🙂

Heres a dilemma Ive been having. Want to pick up a nice type 3 for the winter season. Would you rather get the 21oz modified or the 19oz lefty od? Ever since the restock of the lefty Ive been pushing back on pulling the trigger for the 21oz…

Sure you’d love either, but it would be the 19oz lefty for me if we’re voting.

there are people saying the 19oz lefty type III was their favourite IH jacket, and I wouldn't object to that

I'm wearing my 19oz Lefty at the moment and do most days. I would recommend this one over the 21oz but both are excellent choices. The 19oz feels "heavier" even though the number is lower than 21oz for what it's worth.

Interesting, since I have tried on the 21oz and it felt super heavy and form fitting (in a great way). A lot of people siding with the 19oz od lefty; might have to go with that one pretty soon!

My Lefty 19oz is not indigo/black but 14oz western is.

While both being denim type III’s there are a lot of things separating these jackets.

The colour being one. The overdyed presents as matt black/charcoal while the standard 21oz is indigo. Some people avoid the double indigo thing, some people embrace it.

I would say that weight wise they both feel heavy, you can’t pick the 2oz difference. However the 19oz is a lot more gnarly, while the 21oz forms beautifully and quickly. If you check the measurments, I think you will also find that that they fit a little differently. The chest is narrower on the 19oz and the body a little longer. I’m going from memory here, so I may be mistaken.

                          Hej everyone,
                          greetings from Zagreb, Croatia.
it's a bit cold, grey and gloomy last couple of days, but hey, it can always get worse  😉

i was recently introduced to IH products by a work colleague, and picked up 777s in 19ib. beautiful stuff. on my wishlist is a pair of 21oz 888s (fade to grey fit my measures perfectly, but thinking about indigo's as well), and IHJ-95-BLK.
have to say this forum is super useful for us that can't try all these nice products, and boy - this community here helps.
                          kudos to everyone.

Hey, long-time lurker here. I live in Western Oregon and am an author.

My first foray into IH was a pair of 666-XHS a couple of years ago. I loved everything about the jeans except the cut, which I merely liked, and the lack of breathability. Due to the latter issue, I sold them. I came back to IH this summer when I picked up a pair of 777S-21od during the summer sale. Began wearing them a couple of months ago and, wow, I really love the 21 oz denim and the 777 cut. I liked that pair so much that I snagged a pair of the standard model 777S-21 for the upcoming Indigo Invitational, and also have a pair of 777S-142bb on the way. Super-excited to fade those.

Oregon is a good jeans-wearing state. Winters are cool and rainy, and the humidity makes the air feel colder than it actually is. Summers are hot and dry, and it's much easier to wear jeans in dry heat than in humid heat. I wore my 12 oz Sugar Canes when it was 111 F (44 C) this past June and felt OK in them, provided that I didn't stray from the shade.
