@JDelage that Cartier looks lovely. (As a side note, can people stop buying nice watches as I'm feeling really left out right now! :D)

I saw the Moser bronze watch online a week or two ago. I particularly like how the Cyrillic font makes it look like a cheap, Soviet era timepiece.

I really like that Moser, except for the dial, which is a bit bland. It's also quite expensive (CHF 17.9k) compared to the non limited version in steel w/ blue dial (same movement & overall design, nicer dial, CHF 13.9k).

I have no doubt it's going to sell very well.

There's also the Heritage Dual Time, which is CHF 19,900, and has a striking red dial and an added function over the bronze.

It doesn't have to sell very well, they're only making fifty, and I suspect all will find owners soon.

Think that the madness surrounding the Nautilus can't get any crazier? Well here's the Tiffany special edition of 170 pieces, which will probably sell for the GDP of a medium sized country on the secondary market.

I saw that. It's actually very beautiful IMHO. I wonder how they're going to sell them. Are they going to drop units with random Tiffany's shop through the world? I wouldn't mind one I have to say…

Hodinkee says that it'll only be available from Tiffany boutiques in New York, San Francisco, and Beverley Hills. I suspect that it's already sold out, except for the one they're auctioning off.

I do wonder how Tiffany's & Patek will control distribution here. The temptation to give $25-50k to the Tiffany's store manager for a chase to buy a unit at retail must be a real issue.

It's aight I guess on a surface level, but I detest what the Tiffany Nautilus stands for. Having LVMH worked into the tacky Arial print on the caseback, print that sits on top of the beautiful movement that should carry this information as an engraving, kind of says it all. This is IMO a lazy, cynical hype piece from a manufacturer that I wish were above such things–it just seems "of the moment" and not timeless (so to speak :D). Even the selection of the supposedly discontinued Nautilus... Just a lay-up IMO and a missed opportunity to stoke some enthusiasm for another model, and it all plays into this bullshit manufactured scarcity hype machine that is ruining the industry.

The movement having such a long power reserve is cool, but to me this isn't a compelling piece at all (not that this opinion matters 😃 ).

                        $0.02

As for distribution, fairly certain that will be up to Tiffany & Co.

I see a trend going on with bronze cases especially after Tudor did it. I have to say they're quite nice indeed.

I like the dial on the Tiffany Nautilus, but I could think of watches for the same RRP that I'd prefer to own, speculative gains aside.

Even the regular model is (was) beyond me, unless for flipping. This one's price beat all the estimates I'd seen before.

I admit I've been fascinated by the Nautilus for a while and I actually genuinely like that one. At this point, I'm most interested in how Tiff' decides to sell the watches. It's clearly a play by LVMH to rebuild the brand, which has become a bit dusty. I think the right business decision would be to handpick every single one of the 169 remaining lucky numbers for maximum exposure & coolness, irrespective of their Tiffany seniority as customers.
