      Is it the 215 style?

Merz 50s T-Shirts are my go to. The 215 is cut the same AFAIK but somehow different colours run differently. Got a 215 in Army Green which fit great and had one in Natural and that was huge. Could also be just a mis-tagged one though.

          Oh I see, thanks. 380 g on the 2s14 vs 245g on the 215.
          That's some beefy fabric 😃

They have a brick red that is making my trigger finger itch along with that very green @beautiful_FrEaK

The fabric is SO beefy and I love the little slub blisters everywhere. Washed it cold overnight and it is still drying but I look forward to seeing how the fabric took the wash.

I think I'll also grab another Tezomeya, another very textured loopwheel maker, though quite different.

            Think it, be it.

Innit tho @Joberwocky ? I don't fully grok this 2 needle shit they're talking but I can't argue with the results.

Recently there was a documentary on the French/German channel ARTE about Merz. But I doubt you can watch it from your country…

Anyway, I saw the 2S14 features a relaxed fit and I prefer my t-shirts to be regular/slim. And one thing, I usually wear t-shirts when it's warm and a heavyweight fabric is kinda self-defeating (in my book) 😃

Here's a very non- glamorous picture of my freshly washed 24oz Merz b tee standing up. Pardon the cat hair.  It wouldn't stand completely up but pretty close.

I ended up nabbing the heavyweight Henley (same 14oz fabric as these tees) in both the ink blue and the barn red.  While I was tempted to keep buying their stuff in "natural" (any day over actual white, when the color is done right) I decided I needed to add a touch of color to my base layer wardrobe.  I've got the IH waffles in grey and white, so I didn't want too much redundancy

So my Henleys and sweatshirts showed up today, amazingly 4 days after ordering them.

The Henley is the same 14oz as the tee shirt I got in natural and the construction details and different stitches for the wrists, hem, and button collar are amazing.  I never thought I'd be so into how a garment is put together, but this forum gave proven otherwise  😃

I got both a 10 and 15 ounce sweatshirt as well, the lighter of the two in something of an oatmeal/natural merle and the heavier in a dark grey.  I love my UHFs but wanted to pad out my basics a bit.  The 10z sweat will be fantastic for layering under my N1 or stormrider, and has a nice soft hand feel.  The 15oz reminds me of the XHS denim vs the 21iz.  While the 21oz is thicker the density of the XHS and the rigidity of the fabric is what makes it so interesting.  The 15oz sweat fabric is a much tighter, denser weave, and while the sweatshirt doesn't have the bulk you might expect the fabric feels bulletproof.

All in all the quality is top notch and I'm SUPER stoked on the pieces.  Ink blue and barn red Henley, two neutral sweats, more pics if anyone wants to see them outside of production shots  😉

Pretty sick @Joberwocky I was looking at the Henley too.. I am keen on a pair of their sweatpants when I get the money.

I wear my 14 oz tee under my two favorite IH long sleeves pretty much every day. I just washed it. The only thing that sucks is that I wish this was a 2xl so I could put it in the dryer. When I get a chance I will probably buy a 2xl and keep my XL to do a screen print on and cut the neck and sleeves out of.

I could try and look up the numbers of the two IH long sleeves I love but it's easier just to take a picture.

For the record @Filthy I went 1 size up on the Henley, and it feels like a LOT more room, they may be more generously cut

Great recommendation on the 2S14 @Filthy - grabbed on yesterday and wearing it today. It’s crazy how heavy, but even more crazy how totally breathable and comfortable they are. I was a bit in disbelief that it could possibly weigh 14oz, so I compared against my IHT-1600. The 2S14 is definitely heavier. I love the 1600 and you can feel all of the 11ounces. Bu comparison, the 2S14 feels light and airy.

Because of how breathable this fabric feels, my mind played tricks on me and I started to doubt that it could possibly be 13.6oz. So I weighed my large, and it comes in at a massive 420g. I can’t understand how this thing can be so beefy while still being so light and airy when worn… it’s like a textile magic trick

I have a l/s henley in that 14oz fabric and love it, so damn nice. I wanna get a tee as soon as they have em back in stock in charcoal L on the Merz site, plus a couple other things I've been eyeing. Kinda developing a mildly unhealthy obsession with Merz 😃

I picked up a couple of the 2S18 (the ls version) a few weeks ago from R&H and couldn’t agree more. The fit is a bit more generous than the 206/207 henleys and 1950s tees, so if anyone is considering these do check the sizing (you might want to size down).

I have to agree on the 2S14. Recently picked one up in charcoal, the slightly slubby texture is great.
It doesn't quite hold up in comparison to the IHT-1600 in 11oz, the feel of that is even beefier.

I'd be interested to try this brand again, but I ordered a couple of the extra heavy 14oz tees a few months back  and the fit was so weird. The neck hole was out to my collar bone and low on my back. Looks like a few pics shirts in this thread also have this "feature" but then others don't. Anyone know which cut or fabric weights to look at with small neck openings?
