What's your favorite Beer?

Solid pickup @Sage954
Crooked Crab has been putting out some pretty solid beers -
Lactose does it for me. I stay away, except for a few of the OH Dream beers. Lactose doesn’t get fermented. That’s why it’s used. Are there other beers you like with Lactose?
Yeah, lots. Lactose definitely isn't the problem. On the other hand, I used to dislike IPAs, but that's become such an expansive category that it almost has no meaning any more. I think I'm going through some sort of full scale sea change in my taste preferences. I used to like stouts and porters, but lately, they've all tasted unpleasant. Too much smokiness; it's like licking an ashtray, which isn't the experience I want in a beer.

Nothing but stouts, so far, this week. First two are a new-to-me brewery. Revolution Brewing, out of Chicago. Limited releases, both were quite nice. Though, at $7 per 12oz can, they are a bit pricy. I definitely preferred the coffee version…..
Tonight's selection, from my favorite local brewer…..

I’m not so much of a beer drinker but maybe I need to change. This figure from the BBC maybe suggests we can save the world by eating less and drinking more beer?

How did you find that? I loved it.
Lervig is starting to piss me off… Their bourbon BA barleywine is now called PARAGON and is twice as expensive as it used to be... They now have a whole line of ultra expensive BA stouts... There's even an EVEN MORE EXPENSIVE PARAGON...

That being said: they'e all horribly good and I will try and get the whole OFF THE RACK line in me by the end of the year... #ambitions #Glasgow

Haven’t seem my folks for two years due to Covid, but they were finally able to visit over the weekend. The old man offered to buy me my weekend stash, no limits. So I took him to the cleaners…
I am not a complete twat though, I insisted in buying two of these with my own money…. Probably the best beer I’ve had this year….
