@kkibbey23 , fyi @filthy recently solved a similar squeaky boot problem on a Viberg by drilling fine holes into the inner sole and injecting some oil into them. Apparently with great success. I’ll add the link to his post if I find it.

Every time I see a pair of Wesco black boots, I'm swayed closer and closer to buying a pair. Those look clean and great!

…wow! Ordered a pair of custom boots from the folks at Wesco on March 4th and recently on my account site it said that they were currently being built.
...well, I was just contacted through email from Karen at Wesco and it looks like I'll be waiting an additional 10-12 weeks! :o They're behind 5-6 weeks in the factory due to a plethora of issues and they now have to bump out production times to 24+ weeks!! :o
...they're not accepting any 'rush' orders at all. Karen said she's been working for Wesco for 21 years and has never seen it this busy! Not a bad problem to have but being buried probably is not fun.
...so it looks like its going to be awhile until I don my first pair of custom Wesco's!
It's all cool.

@vaquero357 while that does suck, all I can say is that in my experience the wait is worth it. Looking forward to seeing them here.

It's all cool. Glad I got in in when I did. Got the same email as I have a custom build in the works. As many IH fans here know: IWHWIH. Quality takes time, glad they aren't compromising to hit schedule (like most other businesses).

I saw these in this thread a couple of pages back and kept looking at them again and again. I just wasn't sure about the correct size, hence the custom build on some custom burlap Engineer's.
After chatting with Chess and Chris, they gave me the right standard size to order based on my measurements and it was a done deal.
This pair will cover me, having then black, brown and at one point burlap roughout. Wait, I just saw a black waxed flesh version…

Black waxed flesh is always amazing. I've been eyeing a pair of Truman's in the same type of leather. Patina hits like a hammer on those.

Just picked up some of the natural CXL Mister Lous. Really looking forward to checking em out… we'll see how the sizing is. I went 13E based on the recommendation from the peeps at Wesco — might be a little on the big side, but I'd much prefer that experience to my Lofgrens, which are comfortable once I get em on but a massive pain to actually get on my feet (high instep).

Don't get me going. It took me 6 months of wear of my Lofgrens before being able to somehow slide or better press my foot into these without the good ol' plastic bag and massive pain. I love them, and once in , they are damn perfect (0.5 bigger than Wesco), but it needs some dedication in the beginning.
Now they become a bit wider in the in step area, but still far from being a slip-on.
