Loving my 805s but I’m torn between having them hemmed or not.

At least that's what I'm doing and it's nice to have the flexibility of uncuffing cuffing based on footwear. -

@dinobarnesberlin @henry_david really wondering if I'd be able to wear these all day at work. All the pockets for snacks and tools are like a dream come true! Will test it out on a 2-4hr gig sometime soon. I just kinda find the pockets lower than I'm used to & the straps are hiked up as high as possible. Digging for my phone in the front pocket is like fishing for something in the depths of Hades

@Pipeboss713 hell yeah man!!!! love seeing you rock the GAH with your 805's. As a cuff lover, they look great as is. But pretty sure you'd be able to pull off whatever your choosing

Fuck it, I'm going to pull the trigger on a pair of these. Just looking for some quick sizing advice.
I want them to be relaxed but not overly baggy. I've got 2 pairs of other IH jeans at the moment for comparison:
555-03 size 29
8301S size 30The 555-03 are from one of the older runs that ran larger, so I think my typical IH size is 30. Both pairs were pretty snug in the waist to start but have stretched out to be comfortable.
Thinking a 30 in these is the way to go, but I want to make sure there's plenty of room in the waist area so they kind of hang from the straps and not hug my belly. If that makes sense.
Thoughts? How has everyone else sized these relative to those specific cuts? Half tempted to just order a 30 & 32 and try them both.

@jskidder great decision my friend. The collective wisdom seems to be go with your normal size if you want it more fitted (it will still be relaxed) or size up for super relaxed/the pinnacle of comfort. The waist is way oversized so youre unlikeky to have an issue with it clinging around the belly. I sized up and haven't regretted it one bit, but I think I would have been fine in my normal size too, just not as exquisitely comfortable.

I’d do the 30 if I was you.
I went with 32 and I’m normally a size 32-33 in IH denim and I feel like I nailed it perfectly and coulda went down to 30 for more form fit bit I wouldn’t be able to wear a UHF without unbuttoned sides

Well, perhaps 93 and pre thunderstorm wasn't the best time to make a grocery store walk to try the overalls with some non-boot footwear, but I'm new to this life, it's a learning process. Did get rained on a little coming back home, glad it wasn't pouring, I don't know if my legs are strong enough to hump all this denim back soaking wet

Wearing them wet will help set in those creases. Just power through it my friend.
