Jimmy, i think it's worth the upgrade but it's not a clear case… the improvements definitely make the user experience better but it's not a "wow" type upgrade if that makes sense.  That said, i am loving it each time i use it and the thinner and slightly smaller frame is really cool.

Nice Giles, I picked up one myself last week just to take some pix. I got the Gorillapod Focus with ballhead x combo rated @ 11lbs. Need my equipment safe at all times.
