What's your favorite Beer?

I love this thread. I love seeing the different brews, labels and glassware, even though the nature of commercial beer brewing these days means I won’t be able to taste 90% of what I see here.

But the really great thing is when something I have seen here pops up in my local shop. I believe it was @Seul who scored a load of Apex beers and posted them here recently. To be honest, if he hadn’t I probably wouldn’t have picked these up, generally preferring DIPA’s and Pale Ale to standard strength IPA’s. In addition an unknown to me Swedish brewery wouldn’t have sparked interest. However, after seeing them here picking them up was an easy choice and I’m happy to say they are tremendous. Very tasty and easy to drink while being complex and well balanced.

@neph93 & @Seul while browsing the thread I noticed that you've both posted pics of Wylam beers. Do you buy them locally or order online? If you get them at your local ship that won't work for me obviously, but I'd be interested in recommendations for online shops

UK beers rn are a mess… They're too old when they arrive here in €urope, so I tend to avoid them... So maybe you should too

Local shop for me… Brexit isn’t affecting shipping to Norway so I don’t have the problem Eli has.

Thanks @neph93 and @Seul . Brexit is a major pain for me, professionally speaking. I've spent the last 10 weeks trying to explain to customers why their orders have been stuck in Customs for 6 weeks (and counting). Just an all-around shitshow.
Anyway, back to topic:

^ I do love classic German beer. Haven’t that one but we get a lot of Ayinger through my local store. When it comes to price/quality nothing beats it with the possible exception of Saison DuPont.

@Chris , I took a fast pass on that one. The thought of banana in any beer, let alone a stout, made me wince.  ???

New to me brewery, Ology, out of Tallahassee, FL. 10% triple. Comet, Strata, very nice…..

@scooter, it's not bad, exactly.  The sweetness of the chocolate and bananas does a good job balancing the kick from the 8% ABV, and it's not that artificial, lab made, chemically tasting banana, like you get in candy. They definitely use real bananas.  A lot of real bananas. You can see bits swirling around in the beer; it's almost milkshake-like in texture. I think it might be the thickest, most syrupy beer I've ever had.

I'll have to drink at least one more to decide if I like it or not.
