And I just work in them man.. I find that working your denim hard and not giving a shit does wonders for good fades...Also, scroll back a ways and you’ll see some of my broken in black/grey work pants.. I think it’s post #58

Oh nice I saw that post… for some reason I’m hung up on which denim to choose. This thread here is helping narrow it down though.

Been breaking in these awesome hemp blend work jeans for a few days. The feel is different from 100% cotton for sure. They are crisp feeling, and are creasing great… yet are soft and have a more “fluid” like drape if that makes sense. Anyway - super cool fabric, great fit. 10/10 highly recommended!
Also the shirt pictured is an iron heart black 13oz military serge. Favorite shirt I own.

In the 70's I rock climbed.
When I realized that the only thing that was making me any "good" was my height, and thus my reach, and the fact, I was shit-scared most of the time, I stopped….

GPWW 16oz Nihon Menpu indigo, Whites BH in Distressed. One rinse, worn about 2 weeks now. Great jeans, just ordered another pair!!

May I ask what size you bought–-these come as you know in the medium, large, etc. It's so cold today---on MAY 29th today, I'm wearing 25oz IH and a UHF just to keep warm.

Brock these are amazing. Are you machine washing these in any special way? Curious what your process is as they're clearly getting a lot of work.

I started out machine washing but I get my jeans so dirty that the machine alone doesn’t really cut it.. I’ve resorted to a somewhat similar routine as [mention]Filthy [/mention] I basically scrub them in the tub with fels naptha then wash them in the machine if I think they need it. Otherwise I just rinse them and hang to dry.

I tried on a pair of Amos’s that were so worn in they felt like sweat pants… and then immediately decided to get a pair in this light denim he has with a brushed weft.

Not worn them a lot yet. I bought them primarily for foreign travel/adventures/fishing, not done a lot of that recently
