Siding with @dinobarnesberlin they look the ticket and spot on for some halloween shenanigans.
Slightly off topic @Cutlasshound which brand/model are your green trousers, I've been after something with a similar cut for an age.
They are a pair of Gramicci NN pants. A mate recommended them as my previous pair of olive trousers died a horrible death after years of abuse
Think they were about £85. Great for the price imo.
They do the NN Just Cut ones also which are cut shorter in the leg (which I would have gone for as I have stubby legs). Workingclassheroes may still have some on sale. Picked up a navy pair this week for £65 (or thereabouts).
I am a 36” to 38” waist size and I went with an XL.

Vans are great value, imho. I've had a plain black pair of High tops for about five years now and they have been through the washing machine a number of times, still look great and comfortable to wear.

i love the checkerboard authentics and was considering them too, but I’ve got enough lace-ups and wanted something different. I think I’ve gotten used to only wearing black vans/converse so the checkerboard feels a bit conspicuous! If the wife approves I’ll probably keep em ::)

@jerkules I've been eyeing a new pair of Vans for summer for a few weeks now, the checkboard lace ups were on the radar!
Or roll with the Vault OG LX slips with the high foxing tape. Great look and Olly has the lace up auths that look fantastic
