My great-great-great Grandfather (my mom's dad's grandfather) was Lenape/Delaware tribe and I don't think people intended any real cultural appropriation or any malice with Native American "Chief" imagery like that. At least people didn't realize it was cultural appropriation at the time. People liked stuff like that because there was a romanticization of the 'Old West'. And artwork like that looks really cool or powerful.

I feel very lucky to have had some great experiences in my life for a simple bloke from Essex, UK. Through hardcore punk I got to meet and hang with some truly inspirational legends. I sold merch for H20 on a US East Coast tour and Dutch Tour, and was in bands myself. Getting to hang out with the likes of Toby Morse, Norm Arenas, and Ray Cappo. These pics are about 25 years old now… Gulp
