Hi guys just got my first pair of these IH 555-03 I got them pre-owned in fantastic condition for an absolute steal price

love them I’ve not stopped wearing them yet

only problem is the owner before me has had them hemmed and cut by the tailor

Luckily not far off my own size but the inseam is annoyingly maybe 1inch too short

Is there anything I can try to do to stretch the legs to gain that extra inch ?

There wasn’t much but I have already taken what was left of the old hem out ?

Not a lot you can do about that I am afraid.  Try stretching them when they are damp, but I'm not sure you'll get an inch…

@spitfiredealer and others, the new production of these was submitted today. They will be renamed the IH-555S-SBG and will be one washed.

This is super exciting to me! Love my 555-01 and need some new black jeans, so feeling like a pair of these are the obvious choice.

Maybe this is just me, but it's cool that they'll be one washed, too. Feels like sanforized but unwashed is kind of worst of both worlds - still have some guesswork with sizing, but without the "interestingness" of unsanforized denim.

Hate to be that guy, but any update on when these might be in stock?

as i am wearing them in they seem to be loosening a bit , very fine margins just feel that extra inch would make them the perfect fit

What is your footwear of choice. If it fits your style, you could consider assorted types of boots then style your jeans so they can be worn with the hem higher up the boot shaft.

I have this iteration of the 555 SBG. So I wanted to post here and not under the new tag. I just recently purchased these off the outlet and have a couple fit questions. Waist is marked 30 but measures 33 so they fit at the waist. However, front pockets are pretty darn difficult to get my hands into compared to my 555 XHSIB. I can lift my legs practically 90 degrees. I can squat. So my question is: is this denim just very difficult to break in or do I need a larger size? FYI my waist size in the 555 is definitely a 33.

From my understanding they are  a bit tougher to stretch than the 21s but they do if you put time in them. You should get about an inch of stretch in the waist. Sounds from what you are saying that they are tight at the hip. Maybe a member with more experience in those can chime in.
