Best new LP I bought in 2020
Most heard band in 2020….. never plunged deeper into the music history of a band.
Missing Live Concerts in 2020...... Art has a big social responsibility. Hope we get back on this track soon!
But some of us watched #DigitalConcerts in 2020 ..... did you?

it's so funny that you posted Turning Japanese. I was gonna post that last week but I was thinking it might be a little too "behind the times." I have a friend I was telling about the "O face" song I was also listening to the "all the people that died" song by Jim Carroll recently too.

This would have been the top of my previous post about long form music videos but this deserves its own… -
I can remember talking to the singer of this band with my now ex-wife and he told us about when he went to see Discharge live when then changed their sound. And he said people there were highly upset, and someone urinated in a cup and threw it at Cal and there was a huge fight.
Idk I kind of like the newer sounding Discharge with Cal before the Grave New World album. I think that album is not too great. I am on the fence about the Shootin' Up the World album, and I liked the new stuff they did with Rat from the Varukers. But I don't care for the newest stuff with Jeff singing that much. It's more like Broken Bones than Discharge.

This came out yesterday, and while it's not my favorite thing ever, it's pretty incredible how many different people are singing on the song. Definitely a punk rock super group. There's like 35 or so people singing.

I posted a song from this a few days ago. But I can't get enough of this album. I didn't know who the were but I was listening to Billy Idol doing a show on satellite radio and he mentioned they were his favorite band. So I forgot about them for like 2 years and remembered their name and listened to them.
