Yes, although more precisely, that it isn’t what he does like. Which on the  whole, is mid century American workwear and military styles, as well as some Japanese influenced work wear.

I know the idea went over like a lead balloon. But I wanted to show this sherpa lined western CPO I was talking about. I'd put the flannel weight at where the IH spring flannels are, then the sleeves are quilted and the body is lined with sherpa.

I'd be wearing this every day if it wasn't too small on me. I think it is like 10 years old.

I've got a sherpa lined hoodie that I cling to on really cold days. It's okay quality, but it's very warm.  I doubt IH would ever make a sherpa hoodie or CPO, but I would buy either for sure.

The 533 that's relaunching this year is the closest thing. I bought a used original 533 and it's so amazing. You should pick one up on release if you can.

Like I said yesterday, I think it would be an amazing beast of a shirt, just a limited market. But you never know- Haraki has made things I was certain he'd never even consider, like sweatpants.

would you ever consider making a western hat? Taylor stitch for instance has collaborated with Stetson in the past. I know quite a few people on this forum that would look great in a western hat, and already have plenty of western shirts.

I for one would love an IH version of a classic Open Road or something similar. @Giles has a brilliant Tatton Baird (if I recall correctly) but I do not think the overall aesthetic fits in with the Japanese Moto movement.

IT Might make sense however, to collaborate with Simmons Bilt on a IHUK or Sonders Supplies spec…

I've eyed some of the Open road style hats at SOP inports from Japan and they are very nice, and honestly no more expensive than a Stetson.

and @jordanscollected - I too was tempted by the TS x Stetson, especially since they are packable I believe.. My straw Stetson ALWAYS get crushed getting in my truck, so having something that won't eventually break in half while wearing would be nice lol
