Remind me never to use Bpost (Belgian mail courier) ever again. Sent a parcel to Germany on Monday that should've been there today… The tracking # now says it will be delivered today... At my address...

They do have the most amazing sense of humour… It felt like a hidden camea set-up when I just picked up a different parcel at the PO... Upon looking at my work addy, the lady starts frowning, going "Hmmmm, where do I know that name from..."

MAYBE IT'S FROM THE GUY WHOSE PACKAGE YOU RETURNED WITHOUT REASON AND THEN DIDN'T DELIVER THIS MORNING FOR NO REASON.

She then remembered what had happened to it, but couldn't tell me why. She promised it would be delivered tomorrow.

And it's a GOD DANG rant only cause I wouldn't fuss it was a package for me, but this summat for a forum member

This is "Fall" in Texas.  I collected 32 bags of leaves and enjoyed balmy 80F weather while doing so.

I am really lucky.  I have a large coal cellar.  I put the leaves in large sealed plastic sacks, chuck them in the coal cellar for 2 years and boom, perfect leaf mould to improve our soil…..

Les does say, he thinks that I have some bodies buried down there

Ha, fortunately, the City of Austin has a compost program so all of these leaves will be composted.  The bad thing about it is that this represents about half of the leaves I'll be dealing with this year.  There are still plenty of pecan trees with some or most of their leaves.

I don't believe that this was a package from us, was it?  If not, I would appreciate you saying so.

We're working hard to try to ensure our EU customers don't see any changes in the way we ship to them, or incur extra fees on delivery, although we do expect there will be some "hiccups" along the way.

If the package was from us, please send me details, we need all the feedback we can get during these early days.  As you say, Brexit is a real bundle of fun

IHxUK sent my package yesterday afternoon. It arrived at 1.16PM here. No fees. Obviously no hassles. IH for the win.

My collegue, who just retired, was diagnosed with leukemia over a decade ago… She has to have her blood checked regularly, but so far it hasn't been a real issue yet...

So here's to hoping your mom has a "mild" case as well!.. And yeah: FUCK CANCER. Really sorry to hear, goosehd.
