Thank you all for your kind words.  The messages of love and support mean so much.  We will have a joint cremation ceremony for Mum (Brenda) and Mark on 30th December.

It's a horrid time for the entire world right now, I hope you all enjoy some cheer and enjoyment over the Christmas holidays, despite all the restrictions and anxiety.  I send love and heartfelt wishes for your health and happiness in 2021.  Stay safe and well, dear friends.

Beautiful, thank you @twin - I do love this time of year, and the garden is very colourful at the moment with daffodils, narcissi, tulips, hyacinths, magnolias and flowering cherries.  We've also been lucky with some lovely sunny weather, although it's still chilly.  But it's nice sitting out there, I have a new rocking chair that @Giles gave me on our anniversary last December which is my new favourite "sitting and thinking" place.

Thanks for the wonderful photos @goosehd - absolutely gorgeous spring blossoms.  I recognise them all apart from the pale blue and white star-shaped flowers, they are stunning - what are they?

It's interesting that most of our spring flowers are over now, so whilst the same flowers thrive in your part of the world they are flowering a few weeks later.

Now our wisterias are flowering and our first tree peony.  The wisteria at the front of the house is glorious, these photos were taken a couple of days ago.  When the sun is on it, the scent is lovely.
