I'm not really a jewellery kind of guy, but am now starting to look at other Good Art that I might need!

Everyday wears - all sterling silver except for the watch, which is stainless steel

Chain is a simple Miami cuban link - I never wear it outside of my shirt, which is why I didn't want to pull it out for the picture

Yes I know the watch is a blatant Datejust ripoff, but I don't have the funds right now to afford a Rolex

firstly,

HAHAHA. good luck in getting the gold tip at retail. additionally, the prices for resale goros are at an absolutely disgusting level right now. even if you have the money, i'd say it's absolutely not worth it. if you consider yourself a lucky person, then go try and raffle for the queue in japan to see what number you might be to go into the store and what they'll let you buy.

secondly,

i've been into goros for at least 10 years not and unfortunately, i still can't figure how to tell the real and fake apart. with that said as well, i've not encountered or come across a fake piece to be able to compare or to see what it's actually like. luckily for me, all my pieces are bought directly from goros.

i'd say its worth a shot going to goros' store in harajuku. after all, that's the fun of it, seeing what items you're able to buy. sadly, the queue these days are crazy long but like i said if you're lucky, you might just get a good number..

I recently learned about Goro. Now I really like the feather pendants but since I’m not gonna make it to Japan anytime soon…
And prices online are pretty daft...

What’s a good alternative?
First Arrows, Larry Smith, Dearblossom? What are the differences and what’s recommended?

Ideally I would be adding it on to my Good Art ballchain with a buffalo coin...

first arrows and Larry smith are definitely good alternatives but I'm a sole goros wear when it comes to silver. I'm not sure any of the two I've mentioned might be available online.

personally, the attention to detail in Goros products would be what I say is a differentiation factor. however, after his passing and the spike in people's interest for Goros' products, a lot of the items seemed more commercial and not produced in limited numbers anymore. in saying that, it is still an absolute trek to get it and to get it at retail price, hence the insane resell prices.

first arrows and Larry smith are no slouch by any means and they're also easier to find.

My current set ups of First Arrows

FA or also Larry Smith are a really good alternativ to Goros in my eyes without  any compromise in quality beside that you get easier access to items in EU and cheaper compared to resell prices.

FA use an other silver quality 950% instead of normal 925 which  means a higher pure silver rate.
All items get easier a nice dark patina due that quality. If you don't like easy to clean with silver wipes or  other silver cleaners.
Fa is design wise very similar to goros.

So I’m considering picking a M one up from endclothing.com as they have it at -20% for their Black Friday sale.

Dunno how legit the site is though. Anyone got more info/experience?

There arent really fake ones beside Goros - its to niche.
End is legit - but be careful they have sometimes worn descriptions. check the stated size
the mainline description is often wrong. state as large feather but size is 55mm = medium

If you wrote me the measurement of your buffalo nickel i could give you a comparison to the large feather just write a pm

Oh yeah I noticed that.
I think 55 might be good with the buffaloes nickel. Is the measurement the complete pendant or just feather part?

Goros used 925 silver and 18k gold for those with gold, such as gold top or gold tip.

Endclothing is legit. However,  I'm personally not on good terms with them over an incident years ago. if you ever get the chance, you should check out their new store in London though, design looks beautiful.

first arrows have a set of distribution network. if you stick with them, you'll be right.
