What's your favorite Beer?
-
@scooter one more from your boys! TIPA has long been a favourite style of mine too. After my summer moan regarding IPA I remembered it was TIPA and DIPA that were always my favourites anyway. I also prefer the drier or more bitter varieties and this works for both, although it isn’t as boozy as it maybe should be. Very nice though.

These are the UA beers available in Norway. They have one more at my local, the Version 9 Hazy IIPA, but the others are easy to obtain. Any recommendations?
The hazier triple was my favorite of those. I like all of their (berliner weiss) sours. They are great on hot days. But, they are low(er) ABV, and have healthy additions of fruit purée. Because of age, and possible temperature fluctuations, I tend to shy away from them, if they were canned more than 2 months ago. Which, I believe all 3 on this list were. Version 9 is good. Though, you're likely to find any number of similar DIPAs at a better price point. If I were you, I'd wait to see what drops next…

6x BA Lervig, two Verdant collabs (Other Half and Equilibrium), regular Verdant DIPA and some other goodies coming my way… Can't wait...

Took a trip up to Sapwood Cellars today. The stout collab was thin but tasty. IPAS were fantastic.

Big and juicy triple IPA. Good and might try again but not exceptional for the price.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That’s a good one Neph, lots of cinnamon and marshmallow if I remember right.

Your memory is excellent and it was delicious. Perfect for a stormy Sunday evening.

Holiday Weekend's next then (bourbon BA version)… Probably only twice as expensive as well
It weighs on my conscience this... My regular online beershop (I usually do a ~2-300€ order every month) had two sets of Prairie for sale back in February... Both sets had one very limited and very expensive Prairie beer that I wanted, and one I already had... I asked the sellers whether they could fix me a set with both rare beers... Sure, they said, they'd get back to me with the price cause it'd be more expensive than the sets online... I had just finished doing an order that day, and lo and behold they sent me both Prairie beers in that order, before I had paid...
I sent them a mail upon receiving the beers, thanking them and asking them for the price so I could pay them... Long story short: I asked them again four times in the three subsequent months... They always thanked me for reminding them, but never sent me a price... I've stopped asking them... It's "only" 40€ giveth or taketh, but it still doesn't sit right with me...
So I did the right thing and placed an order of ridiculously expensive beers last Friday, stuff I'd normally not buy, to make up for it... Win/ win?.. I dunno...
Drinking away the feeling of guilt...

That looks like that would be a lost evening for me [emoji1]
Tried this one today because summer is fading fast!
So in terms of KeyLime Pie taste, they nailed it. It’s tart, but also creamy and graham crackery. A little gimmicky but it works! I’m going to add it to Prairie’s Rainbow Sherbet for good desserty sours.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
