Late 80's/Early 90's.  88 to be exact…Don't know how many times I listened to this song during the early 90's.

^ It is genius though. I’m watching Donnie Darko tomorrow with my 17 year
Olds (my idea)? That song makes such a grand entrance in that movie.

God damn The Cure Glastonbury set was perfection, Pictures of You always gets me pretty emotional.

Deftones have released a second new song @goosehd It's got a really White Pony - Elite vibe.

Today's obsession has been Thou's Alice in Chains cover:

@neph93 Thanks for starting me back down the rabbit hole.  As soon as you mentioned the 90’s and the Pumpkins and Hole, it took me back to a great time.  Then @Graham follows up with a grunge masterpiece.  I now know how I’m going to spend the rest of the evening and maybe weekend.

Thanks guys!  Also big thank you for the Deftones’s heads up.  I looking for it now. 🙂

@goosehd might not be what you are shooting for, but if you want 90's stuff that is not big, brassy or well known, but is it's own rabbit hole, then it can be found here…

It takes a little bit of work, but it is literary, musically satisfying and generally the tits.

I like it.  Kind of reminds me of a Nick Cave or Tom Waits kind of vibe.

@Jett129 you have been lucky enough to have seen Jimi 3 times, and these guys as well 🙂

I was lucky enough to see him when he was fit in 1973 in Spokane, WA.

.  The most memorable meeting was when I got to be backstage for a performance by Ginger Bakers Airforce, during which he took one of the most outrageous drum solos I had ever seen,so intense that his shirt ripped in the back. Afterwards I saw him walking around, got hold of a pen and a piece of paper and summoned up the courage to go up to him and say That was the most amazing feat of drumming I had ever seen, could I possibly have your autograph?…To which he replied “Fuck off man,it’s not cool” and turned his back and walked away from me. I was crushed, and for years whenever he would come up in conversation I would say “If he was on fire,I wouldn’t piss to put him out”.
