Much appreciation for the appreciation! That hole above the knee is making a run up the crease so that’s the determining factor in their retirement. I’m not going to repair them again as the 18oz is getting thin on the thighs and I’m not keen on how that repair would feel or look when worn. It’s a luxury to have so many epic examples of evolutionary excellence here in the forum, including multiples of your handiwork. All the denims are now pretty well represented

I [hand] washed my jeans again today and I really like the patina of the leather patch.

Although I guess I didn't get them as clean as I had hoped because water from the drip dry was greenish black.

My two pairs that gets worn the most out of my collection. The 21oz indigo fabric is just insanely soft and comfortable now while the 8301 still retains its stiffness yet perfectly broken in. Love em both ~
