Generally I prefer contrast stitching on my denim, and if this was standard indigo I’d want that. Given that it is indigo/black and will generate pretty interesting wear I think a subtler tonal version would be good. Easier to wear with indigo denim bottoms too.

Is it too much to ask for both ?
I could see it in tonal throughout with subtle highlights using the  contrasting along the pockets or on the collar perhaps.

I will take whatever you make tonal or contrast. Wearing this denim now . Look at the yellow stiching next to fade line . Yummy

I would be down for contrast first then tonal. I own both and both look good.
