I definitely wore my UHFs less than in any previous season. I live in NJ.

Brits have been a holiday blight on many countries for decades… We CANNOT handle alcohol responsibly... Now we are inflicting it on ourselves. We disgust me...I say 'we' because responsible citizens more often choose not to intervene when there are problems, 'we' don't help the situation, but are happy to moan and tut. I've had many a run in with drunken idiots discarding their bottles in the streets over the past few months. It makes me seriously consider straight edge again.

The point of the article is that the LBGTQ community find the Levi’s product mentioned deeply problematic. My favourite quote is «Even the party gays didn’t ask for these». It was a pretty naive move on Levi’s part.

Its amazing how things get "green lit" in meetings sometimes - like really? No push back from anyone?
Not that there's anything wrong with Chaps, Im just saying

I see stuff like that and I try to think how that could ever,on what planet, possibly be a good idea. I’m sure someone thought it was going to sell like crack, and a bunch of other people gave him high 5s. Levis lost me a long, long time ago which led me on a search for really good heavyweight denim, and here I am.

Tomorrow should have been my son Archie’s fifth birthday, but he died before he hit three after battling cancer for best part of a year.

Kids shouldn’t suffer, they certainly shouldn’t get cancer.

Parents shouldn’t outlive their kids…or watch the horrors of cancer treatment ravage both the disease and the poor child.

Everything was great until Archie fell ill. Everything’s pretty fucked now.

Just before he died I gave my motorbike to a mate of mine and asked him to hold on to it. I needed it out of reach as we knew Arch had relapsed and his chances of survival were minimal. Hope was gone and in a desperate attempt to give me options my brain kept offering suicide as an alternative. I can’t begin to put into words how bad things got, but in the middle of what we refer to as ‘the nightmare’ Alex delivered our second child Oscar and he has been the reason to stick with it, make the right decisions and try our best to be the parents he so deserves.

I got my motorbike back last week. My friend not only kept it safe, but he pretty much stripped it down and rebuilt it. He didn’t tell me he was doing that and refuses to accept anything I offer as payment.
It looks incredible and rides absolutely perfectly, which certainly can’t be said for me. Just to be back wobbling around on it again is huge progress.

We know a lot of parents who are going through or have been through this journey and we all experience the same thing. Friends disappear just when you need them. I understand how hard and horrifying opening the door to situations like ours can be, but I encourage everyone just to check in on people you think might be struggling. Do not think you are intruding, that you are not important or close enough or that you are reminding someone of something that is painful. Pick up the phone, write a message, deliver some food, just be brave.
It means everything to feel that you/we are not alone.

^ I cant even begin to imagine the pain & suffering you guys have been through whilst Archie was alive and then trying to make sense of his death. The timing of Oscars arrival in your lives gave you guys purpose in that period you called the "nightmare" and, to me, his arrival was a miracle in itself. Managing to survive the trauma of the events you have touched on and then offer us, your fellow forum members, such words of positivity and simple suggestion to think of others and reach out to others leaves me feeling emotional and moved by your strength. Thanks for sharing @Streetwise Hercules
