A relaxed tapered like the above (with more thigh and seat even!) would be great, I think. But, I like carrot fits, and I think it’s been said before that Iron Heart isn’t ever going to make one.

I can’t see it happening. That is somewhere between the 888 (with the exception of the rise) and the 777. Having a third cut would be excessive. I think G-san is also be of the opinion that there are enough cuts already.

I am afraid you are right. I also thought that cut is maybe not in line with the motorcycle rugged guy that maybe IH seems to be targeting. But I do like it (and I ride a Harley), and I think it would sell well, at least in Europe (I am Spanish), not so sure about the US.

Yes, you're right, even a bit more thigh and seat.

Actually I think that is already popular there. I see a lot of guys on IG who have bought 888 or 777 and have them tapered even more to achieve a smaller hem. They wear them with Chelsea boots or other slim lasted work boots. Really not my thing, but each to their own.

Yes, you're right, even a bit more thigh and seat.

Selfedge has the straight-tapered 633 cut. The leg opening may not be quite as small as your suggesting. But, the rest of the specs are in the ball park.

Thigh and rise are too much like 634. I would prefer like a half inch more in the thighs for that cut to be relaxed at the top the way I want. So far, the 888 is the one that’s come the closest.

Knowing it’s a long shot then I’d say more towels in more colors. I’ve been using mine as gym towels and they are super nice.

Going by the build quality of a recent purchase, IHE-37, have IH ever considered a motorcycle tank/tool bag? I have a Wheel Bourne one, which is great as it magnetically attaches itself through soft rubber inserts. Something like this in 21/25oz with leather straps and a GA snap hop up would be appealing given the motorcycle bloodline.

Semi cross post from the 721 thread…..but I would love to see more colors of the IH-721 made.  Olive, dark brown, and grey/charcoal to name a few.

With regards to the 101j/fabric deliberations, the black 21 oz with the brown weft is never far from my mind.

I know a jacket with it has been discussed on this threads few times but has a chore coat been mentioned? It may have been, and it is the sort of idea I may have poo-poo’ed. However, it is a while since IH have had one, and it pops up now and as an item people like. I think it would look great with the copper snaps and the brown weft in that denim gives the fabric a vintage-esque feel that would work well with the chore coat style.

A classic fit 101j with the black & beige denim would be an instant buy for me (assuming the measurements work of course).

I just picked up this shirt on eBay. Any chance Iron Heart would make something in a similar color/pattern?

I like that too. That would work either as a lightweight Madras style shirt or as a UHF. I have a feeling IH or TW had something like that colourway a while back actually.

Any chance of a relaxed strong tapered cut in the future? For example, (for sanforized or washed denim) for 34'' waist, something the likes of 11'' front rise, 13'' thigh, 8.2'' knee, 7'' bottom opening.

Have a look at the new IH-NO-LOT jeans just released. They are the product of a random accident and may be just what you are looking for.

As for the fabric, I agree both could/would work. I'd like to see it in a lightweight fabric for selfish reasons, though. Because of where I live (Los Angeles), I'd get more wear out of it that way. I love my UHFs, but they are basically like a light jacket for me.

I had a dig and here are some ofnthe shirts I was thinking of. Take the colourways if these:

                                      https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/ihsh-31.html

                                      https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/ihsh-38.html

                                      https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/ihsh-47.html

And mix them into this pattern:

                                      https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/#/categories-extinct_shirting

                                      And you’d be pretty close.

Some of us have been clamoring for more lightweight shirts for awhile  😃 I'd like to see more lightweight flannels personally for every Spring drop – something in the 5oz range and colorways similar to the IHSH-19. Basically a lightweight version of the UHF. Don't get me wrong, I do love my madras western but i'd get more practical use out of a lightweight flannel.
