I bought mine around January 2018 and can say that mine has had virtually zero fading. But, it doesn’t exactly get worn a ton either.

It will need to be worn super hard for a long time to get results, it seems.

I can’t speak to the jacket’s fading potential but the fabric loves a wash. It definitely acts as a catalyst for evo.
Agree. The triangle of terror type III looks marvelous, especially after the washes.
In my case, as much as I’d like to see evo on my jacket i’m not exactly in a hurry. I only wear mine a handful of times when the temps justify it, so it doesn’t need a wash and likely won’t for awhile.

It is quite possibly the same for all OD, but I have experience from the 21oz and 14oz OD and the later seems to loose the black easier than the former with a wash, revealing indigo and giving a worn look, even without high contrast fade patterns.

Been wearing this jacket on occasion and have washed probably 7 or 8 times.

Thanks dude...I ended up selling it a couple of years ago plus another IH jacket to pay for my 19oz Lefty.
