Day 12 of a 14 day mandatory quarantine period in a hotel room in Stavanger Norway.
I ran out of drink so made an SOS call to a colleague who dropped me off some Isbjorn ( Polar Bear ) bear. Very nice it is too, clean and crisp. Comes from the Mack brewery in Tromso in the north of Norway. They claim to be the most northerly brewery in the world.

I am indeed old boy. It is the wife’s preferred tipple when I make her watch the footie with me on a Saturday afternoon.
Tromsø is a way off. We’re north of the arctic circle but it is an hour long flight or 10hrs drive to Tromsø. I have visited Mack brewery some years ago. When I first moved to my town (Bodø) you couldn’t admit to drinking or lining Mack Beer. It would be like serving Cains at Old Trafford.
How come you ended up in quarantine in Stavanger?

@neph93 Cains, a nice beer. I spent time studying / living in L’pool.
Just had a quick google of Cains beer and it looks to have been wound up up 2013. The brewery building seems to be up for development at the moment.
Working in the oil and gas industry for Aker BP. Waiting to go offshore to work hence the SVG quarantine period.
