Not sure about epic. I certainly enjoyed it. Seems silly to say but despite bring 11% abv it seemed stronger. Very complex, lots going on.

I was on a hazelnut kick, this weekend. Had this one, last night…

It was a bit tart, at first. But, it diminished as it warmed. I'd recommend serving this one at 50F/10C.

I still haven't made it to the Eagle Park taproom, yet. But, it's definitely on the to-do list.

Side Project Punchdown

I’m pretty lucky to be within a 20 minute bike ride or 8 minute drive away from some of the best micro breweries in the US. This afternoon was my first visit to SideProject and it was worth fighting the 4pm on a Tuesday crowd to taste a couple beers and bring a couple bottles home. Cool little place with a happy, homey vibe and really excellent beer. Plus the bar gal was pretty flirty which never hurts [emoji849]

Anyway, this bottle was wine cask conditioned so it had a solid red finish with a sour hit. I imagine it would be a hit with a lot of our forumites.
