Iron Heart 633 in 14oz Black/Black Denim & New Horsehide Jackets
This week have the very popular 633 fit from Iron Heart in a newly developed 14oz denim with a black warp and black weft. The denim on this is one of the best black/black denim styles we've seen from any brand, it has a perfect hand feel and great character for a black/black denim.
We've also received Iron Heart's newest horsehide jacket. This model has been modified exclusively for our stores as we've had Iron Heart remove the side/rear zippered gussets for a cleaner look.

Masahiro Maruyama Spring 2020 Collection
This week we have four new eyewear releases from Masahiro Maruyama. With this new collection he plays with layering different shapes made of titanium under acetate to bring a new level of depth to his eyewear. All four are made of Japanese acetate and titanium and come with tinted Carl Zeiss lenses, with each frame's lens color matching the frame to the designer's specifications. As always, these lenses can be swapped out for prescription lenses by any optician.
All four of these frames are quite unique and the attention to detail in both design and material finish is top notch, truly he's pushing the boundaries of eyewear design and manufacturing.
Along with these four new models we've received new runs of three of his best sellers which we sold out of during the first production run.

This week we've got releases from Buzz Rickson, Sugar Cane, and Iron Heart.
From Iron Heart we've received their 633 straight tapered fit in their flagship 21oz denim and also their newer 14oz indigo denim. If you’re looking for a perfect fitting pair of jeans in a denim that’s not only comfortable but also ages nicely, these are it.
We sold through the Buzz Rickson x William Gibson black watch caps faster than ever this winter season so Toyo has done a run of 300 of them just for our stores. These are the best black wool watch cap you can buy. A perfect fit and feel with no exterior branding.
Also from Buzz Rickson we've received new runs of their flatlock seam crewneck sweaters in gray and oatmeal and also a new run of Sugar Cane's vat-dyed chambray shirts.

Depending on the fabric or production run we change it up so we can offer a selection of jeans with arcuates, without arcuates, and also with tonal arcuates. Something for every arcuate preference!

What I meant to say was, some of your IHxSE jeans have the standard IH arcs and then there's the ones that don't. What was the purpose of having slightly different arcs on say, the 633 21 oz, versus the 633 14oz?

We honestly just mix it up depending on the denim, weight, fit, etc.. we look at the design and details of a jean as an entire package, and depending on the direction we're going in we may keep the original IH arcuates, or do tweaked ones, or do tonal ones, etc…

Iron Heart Spring Collection of Shirts & Jackets
We have a heavy set of new releases from Iron Heart this week!
First off we have a new 14oz black/black Type III jacket. This is made of Iron Heart's newly developed 14oz black/black denim, we loved the fabric so much we needed to see it in a modified Type III jacket.
Next up we have two snap buttoned denim shirts, one very special one made of a new natural indigo denim which has a beautiful shade and weave pattern and another one made of a slightly less special 12oz indigo denim.
Lastly we have their modified Type III jacket in a 17oz selvedge cotton duck fabric. This fabric looks great with a fresh pair of raw denim jeans and there's no risk over denim-ing your outfit here.

Studio D'Artisan 40th Anniversary Charcoal Weft Jeans & Cobra Buckle Backpacks
Two special releases from Studio D'Artisan this week!
First off we have a new jean made of a denim developed as part of their 40th anniversary capsule collection. This is a 14oz slub yarn denim with a charcoal dyed weft. This gives the indigo denim a very unique shade from the slightly charcoal colored weft. These are available in their straight tapered fit.
We've also received a small run of nylon and Cobra buckle backpacks. They've done these in conjunction with a bag-maker in Japan which specializes in ballistic nylon bags made with fancy buckles and buttons. These are super functional and have some cool SDA branding.

Pure Blue Japan 16.5oz Slub Denim Jeans!
Well, we're going to keep the ball rolling in these very surreal times… For now all new products can be purchased online as our online store is still shipping out orders and our Mexico store is still open for the time being.
This week we have a new jean from Pure Blue Japan in a tasty new denim style they've developed to contain just the right about of slub in a nice medium weight 16.5oz unsanforized (but Self Edge-style rinsed) denim. This comes in their popular straight tapered fit and is sure to be a model which we'll need to restock every year as early in-store response has been very good.

This week Mister Freedom drops a couple of hot releases on us. First up we have the nicest bandana we've ever stocked at our stores. These are made in Japan and from the print to the packaging this is some top notch work. Check the product page for a very long explanation of every aspect of these things. We've also received a new vat-dyed chambray shirt complete with some cool Mister Freedom stylings and those nice painted snap buttons which chip over time.

Roy "Indigo Lover" Jeans - Available Now!
We have a new run of Roy’s jeans being released today via our online store. The indigo patches on the pocket bags are made by Rowland Ricketts. Roland grows the indigo himself on his farm then dyes the cloth himself. Roy has used different shades of his indigo dyed cotton cloth to decorate the pocket bags. These come in a classic straight leg fit with a little taper and classic medium rise.
These are unsanforized and have not been rinsed, so the measurements you see online shrink down considerably after a hot soak. These are the most over the top detailed out jeans we’ve ever seen from Roy, so many little details to discover within these jeans. Get em now in our online store.
