What are the stainless steel watches that have become hard to find, or largely unavailable?

Rolex: Submariner, Daytona
Patek: Nautilus

Not sure about:

AP: Royal Oak
Rolex: Deep Sea

The Rolex Daytona, GMT Master, Sky Dweller, and possibly the Submariner. I don't know about the Yacht Master.

The Patek Philippe Nautilus and also the Aquanaut.

I don't know about the Royal Oak, but I think that some models are scarce.

As for AP, in Tortola & St Thomas we saw quite a few of the more complicated ROs but only one “base” model. The dealers were apparently supposed to limit one to a person but I imagine money talks.

Monochrome are speculating about what Rolex will release at Baselworld. I'm not a huge fan of the Crown, but this Milgauss is awesome.

Of course, there's a question whether Baselworld will happen this year. Watches and Wonders (formally SIHH) has just been cancelled in light of the Coronavirus outbreak.

Yes it is an unimaginative superimposition of modern Rolex sport watch aesthetic onto what apparently was an unpopular watch in its time and collectable in retrospect. Love how they predict an antimagnetic movement, but the display caseback prediction is ludicrous.

The only Milgauss I really like is the 116400GV, with the green crystal and the orange accents. This one is just ok, and as one might guess, the bezel bugs me.

Personally, I think it’s lovely and although the bracelet finish looks perfect it isnt a good fit for this watch. I would buy this twice over and take a huge loss before buying that Milgauss.

Center the date, change the date font, make the PR indicator intuitive, and move it to the back and I agree fully.

Bracelet would remain an issue but it would look great on leather.

I saw the news that Baselworld has been ~~cancelled~~ postponed until January 2021. Given that Watches and Wonders (formerly SIHH) and the Geneva Motor Show have gone the same way, I'm not surprised.

Maybe it's all a cover for Rolex to redesign the Milgauss.

The Credor's not bad, but I'd probably spend the money on the Godzilla special edition.
