Joker, aside from the fact you know it's based on a Marvel character, really doesn't feel like a superhero movie in any way. In certain ways it felt like the director wanted to simply make a movie about the state of mental health and may have simply used the Joker character to gain a larger audience. This movie very easily could have been made and would have been fantastic if it had nothing to do with a comic book character. You meant to say “DC” character of course. Sure. All that stuff is the same to me.

SNOWPIERCER re-visit: Weinstein might be a pig, be he was right about the movie not being tight enough… Still has some memorable scenes though... PARASITE: well I've been a fan of his flicks... Even liked OKJA... But PARASITE is solid af... Just give it a view, you won't be sorry... THE IRISHMAN: I only watched the first 20' but wanted to really give this flick the time and attention it deserves, so I decided on watching the rest today... Might watch ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD as well... Tomorrow I wanna start a second watch of LA MEGLIO GIOVENTÙ... Holidays: aren't they just the best...

I enjoyed Alita. Pretty strange movie, but I generally enjoy dystopian and cyberpunk themes. I would expect sequels if the business side of things allows for it.

Alita was better than expected. Great fx too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Come As You Are - Three young men with disabilities hit the road with a jaded nurse driver to a brothel in Montreal catering to people with special needs. Remake of the acclaimed Belgian film 'Hasta La Vista'. We really enjoyed this film this evening and thoroughly recommend it

HOLY COW where does one begin… First of all: there were some crazy cars in this flick!.. And cuts... Details... Tarantino being Tarantino... I never liked Dicaprio... To me he always felt like a sober Liotta... But he delivers here... And Pitt does as well... Man I loved every god-dang second of this movie... Laughed so hard as well... And concerning the ending: WHO THE HELL DOESN'T LIKE AN ENDING LIKE THAT?!?!?

Knives Out was terrific! Good ole murder mystery.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was excellent. Watched Ford v Ferrari again this weekend and it has some slow moments but overall I’d recommend it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah FvF was terrific.

Watched Ford v Ferrari again this weekend and it has some slow moments but overall I’d recommend it. Finally got around to seeing that one last weekend, myself. I enjoyed it a lot.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Much weirder than I expected.

We watched Uncut Gems. I really liked it, Sarah not so much. I really like the way the tension built. The Safdie brothers kept a sense of chaos and threat throughout the films without the use of violence. Adam Sandler was great. His character was so deliberately annoying and so well acted. @den1mhead I'll have to give that film a go. It's an issue that we deal with a lot in social care… People with disability couldn't possibly have a libido, so they must be being abused! Not (always)

Rambo Last Blood… A film that just didn't need to be made, but somehow nostalgia won over.

I really liked uncut gems too. At the end of the movie i realised my heart rate had been up for two hours and I was slightly sweaty. Sandler does kill it. You honestly want to punch him in the face most of the film.
