Took a drive out into the Columbia River Gorge.
It’s amazing during Autumn/fall!
Drive across the ‘Bridge of the Gods’

The native Indians are still permitted to fish Salmon with nets in certain areas of the Columbia, these are some of their fishing docks..

Ate some famous Ice Cream at Eastwind drive-in. Cascade Locks is the northern most town on the Pacific Crest Trail and the Bridge of the gods connects the trail between Oregon and Washington. It’s a major thru hiker destination and is featured in the movie Wild with Reese Witherspoon.

The kids had some fun at the Skamania county fair grounds

I attended college in Chester county, Swarthmore College, and those woods in your pics are exactly as I remember them in winter. I don’t think I ever made it out to Serpentine Barrens.
