Anyone ever done something sacrilegious like cutting the sleeves of their LS shirt to make it SS?

I've done it on an IHSH-21 (blue chambray).

Ahhh I see. Now that you mention it, I do believe my short sleeve shirts are wider around the bicep although that feeling could be accentuated by the folding of fabric at the elbow. I'll do some measuring later to appease my curiosity… I guess I'm not that desperate, but chopping sleeves is a consideration for the future. Knowing myself, I'll probably leave it up to the universe as to whether a short sleeve hickory stripe shirt gets made haha

@JDelage Oh cool, what were the results? Any pictures?

I happened to have 2 of those, so I turned one into a short sleeve shirt.

What’s eBay etiquette on lost/stolen packages? Do I refund just the cost of the item or the item plus shipping? I’m gonna wait another week before filing a claim. I don’t trust USPS at all so it’s fortunate I insured the package.

From an objective point of view: Which one is qualitatively better, Kersey or Corduroy?

Yeah, I've had issues uploading good quality pictures for a little bit.

I dont know if upgrading to pro helps or not. But im not sure I like tapatalk enough to actually pay for it.[emoji2369]

I don’t know if it is a pro feature, but if you upload multiple pics at the same time then TPTLK reformats them practically to thumbnails. When I upload one at a time I get a choice of sizes including actual size.

I think another user already mentioned this, but I have switched away from Tapatalk when uploading photos and just use the web version of the forum on my phone.  Photos upload like normal and look clear.  Upload with an iPhone through the web has been just as easy as with Tapatalk.

Heddels had an article on 7 fabrics to keep you warm this Winter, one of which, was Moleskin. There was also a link to a previous article about the history of Moleskin. I found this all quite interesting and informative as I knew nothing about it. Made me curious as to wether or not there was anything special/unique about the Moleskin that IH uses for it’s shirts. One of the characteristics of the fabric that they mentioned is wind resistance, which makes me think it might make good motorcycle riding pants, especially when it’s colder.

Lots of different types of Moleskin.  My old pants used to be extremely heavy (stand up on their owny)

                                          From Wiki:

_Moleskin is a heavy cotton fabric, woven and then sheared to create a short, soft pile on one side. The feel and appearance of its nap is similar to felt or chamois, but less plush than velour. The word is also used for clothing made from this fabric. Clothing made from moleskin is noted for its softness and durability. Some variants of the cloth are so densely woven as to be windproof.

Its name is due to the soft brushed hand of the fabric, similar to the skin of a mole._

Like denim, there are millions of variants

I used to dress in a lot of army surplus gear as a teenager and British or German army moleskin combat trousers were my absolute favourite. Ridiculously sturdy and quite wind proof. I think that was when I started being interested in clothing fabric actually…
