I recently bought a pair of these. I had a couple different 634's which I didn't get the fit quite right on (a couple of my first IH ventures), so I sold those and went with these instead. This denim is really cool! It reminds me of the 25oz a lot, but is way softer out of the bag. I've worn them about 15-20 times so far and they've already softened up a bunch more lay a lot better. I soaked them in really hot water before I wore them also. I held the hems out of the water though to try to avoid shrinking those. It was mainly the thighs and knees that I wanted to shrink (and the inseam). It turned out real well. The beige weft is a cool touch also. I'll be interested too see how they wear over time.

The colour of this denim is really quite nice. Difficult for me to capture it via my phone camera (and the incandescent lighting doesn’t help either). I was originally a bit hesitant with regards to the brown weft since it can give off a ‘dirty’ look when the denim begins to fade. I was also worried that the the turquoise stitching would be too garish as well but I can say that it's (1) not really noticeable most of the time, and (2) is actually rather pleasant.

I'll hopefully be able to post some nicer photos at a later date!

Mine are coming up to about 150 days, and they look really cool, but also difficult to capture in a photograph either inside or outside. Definitely not the least bit dirty looking. Pics in about a week or so.

Excellent—looking forward to the pics! I've had mine since the start of June this year. I haven't been counting the days but I've been wearing them for most of the days since then. Great for the winter weather!

If there are any pairs left in my size when I get to G’port in September, there is a very real risk that one will come home with me. The measurements on the site don’t quite add up for me in either cut, but trying on may well reveal a lucky winning pair [emoji1]

I actually have the other cut(Tapered) of this denim, and of all the IH denim, I own, these have settled and conformed to my shape as well as any. When I initially got them,I thought I might have made a mistake in my assessment of the measurements relevant to other IH cuts that I owned at that time. What I'm trying to say is that the denim is great, very breathable,(Been wearing them all summer)and if you're close on the fit it might be worth rolling the dice on the subsequent break in/settling period.

@Jett129 thanks for that. I've just been checking the measurements. I think the tapered version (PIH10ANT) would be best for me but I was rather hoping the straight version would work out as I'm enjoying straight legged jeans again. The 634 iteration s with a narrower thigh or the 666 iterations with a wider thigh are both great options, but tough to track down. Unfortunately the PIH10ANS seem a little more like a traditional 634 with a very relaxed thigh and on my short inseam that just looks odd.

Had my wife do a quick iPad picture before she left. Even though this is the utter cut you can get a good idea as to how they look..  Also if you want you can go back to early on in the PIH10ANT thread and look at my fit pics from 2 years ago when I originally got them.

Thanks very much @Jett129 Good cut for you. Look more like 777's than 555's perhaps? I've just got my first pair of Boss with the bump toe as opposed to the MP toe. I feel like the bump toe may be a bit much with a very narrow hem. These look fab though.

I still haven’t worn my pair that I nabbed from the b/s/t forum. Need to get them hemmed first but I’m lazy and can’t be bothered to drive across town [emoji848] Oddly enough, this is the only pair of IH denim I own. Too many other jeans in rotation to justify buying another pair. Still want a pair of the 777-21

These shrank,in the length,a little more than I was expecting so you might want to wash/soak before hemming.

I think they were soaked before I bought them and I soaked them again after I got them. I’ll probably soak them once more for good measure

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well. I bought a pair of these, took delivery on 11th July. This is my first time with this type of denim and today is wear day 17 for these.

All went well until days of wear 11. On day 10 night, we went to a birthday party in a club, although I hung the Jean's when I came home, next day the smell of stale cigarette smoke was not nice.

I wore them to do the weekly shop, but still not nice. Decided to soak.

20 minutes in look warm water, yellow tinge in the water, which I think comes from the indigo and hung to drip dry over the bath. The puddles formed under them, were very blue.

After hanging for a couple of hours, they had developed a smell which I think was a cross between stale cigarette smoke and a wet dog…

Washing machine! I had being fighting this for many days. I'm a wear and wash, defo not a wear and wear type.

Anyway, I used laundry liquid for black clothes, on a wool wash. Took 43 minutes, I watched most of it. No sign of yellow or blue.

After they dried : waste; seat; thighs and knees seemed to be back to delivery sizes, leg a little shorter.

Perfect comfortable fit, I'm delighted  😉
